I have an Ikea Integrated Dishwasher model dwf 416. It keeps stopping mid cycle or not starting at all with the drainer pump engaging immediately but not cutting out with the end of cycle beep with the start button flashing 4 times. If its left for a few days it runs fine for a while then the same thing happens again. Also greasy debris seems to be present on the inside of the machine even when all the contents have been thoroughly rinsed beforehand. Any ideas?

4 flashes is a drain failure. Check your drain hose and ensure that it loops higher than the drain. If it’s on a spigot it may be back filling giving you the greasy deposits.
Other possibilities are a faulty module or dirty water indicator (if fitted).DP
