    Hi,

My bulit-in cooker was displaying F 03 which after some web research I found to be a code saying the heat sensor needed replacing. This I have done but am still getting the F 03 message.

For other Whirlpool models it is mentioned the thermal fuse should be (also) replaced, however I cannot find any reference to a thermal fuse for my particular model, despite many hours of searching.

Does anyone know this particular model? Where am I looking?

Any help hugely appreciated – I’m already 50 quid and a few hours in and don’y want to admit defeat now!

    Ikea / Whirlpool, FCSM6, 50065640, Service no. 854185615010

    THANKS

There is a thermal limiter fitted on the rear oven rail. P/no 4812 282 28263. It should read normally closed when tested with a meter.

    Stay safe, power off.

Sorry for the delay – had to get a tester. The limiter is closed (I had taken it to a parts shop yesterday who said it seemed to be fine), I also took a resistance reading from the heat sensor which also seems to be fine (just over 1000 ohms at room temp.) Still F 03 is being displayed, is there a magical hidden reset button or is my PCB buggered?

    Hi

On some whirlpool ovens F03 is a main PCB fault , so PCB would need to be changed .

Thanks Mike – thought that probably the case. Out with the wallet again then…
