I can’t continue with the WTA.
My life is pretty much f**ked at the moment and I’m desperate for something new, something new outside of this trade. I don’t feel I can commit to the time etc to continue as a Council Member.
The Swift show should have made me filled with excitement, so should the upcoming Feb meeting, but I really didn’t care about the show and don’t have any feeling for the upcoming meeting TBH and that isn’t the attitude for a Council Member to have.
I’m sorry guys, I have tried to find the enthusiasm I once had, but it’s lost! I don’t think it’s fair for you guys that are working hard to rely on me at all, given my feelings and lack of enthusiasm.
As an ex soldier, I’m currently going through the entrance tests for the TA. I just feel that I need more in my life than what is there at the moment! Call it a ‘Mid Life Crisis’ if you want as I have even thought about buying a motorbike! But seriously, I don’t think this is for me anymore.
I don’t want to leave you guys in the sh1t, nor will I, but I have to speak up now and say that I’m done.
Please find a replacement for me ASAP. I’ll always be a member of the WTA and support it, but I don’t want to be a part or the admin or running of it anymore.
I hope no one reads this and feels pissed off? I’ve actually come to think of you lot as friends, and think a sh1t load of each and every one of you, it’s just simply down to me losing interest and needing different stuff in my life.

Hey Ade dont be sorry, Its best to be honest with your self and get your self sorted with what ever direction you gonna take.
Life too short to worry what others think and you need do what you think is right and best for you.
We will all be sorry to see you leave you have been an asset to us all and greatfull for what you have done.I know you get ichy feet so to speak, and you are always looking for challenges to keep busy and I am sure you will find them. (Dont get a Mbike youll kill yourself) 😆
As you said I consider you a good friend and its been good working with you even if it was a short time. I have learnt alot and thank you for that!
Listen if you want a meet up some time and have a chat then I dont mind popping across the river.

TBH, 2011 has been the worst year of my life. I’m looking at things and I find myself having to ‘Regroup’ with myself to keep focus on what’s going on, where it’s going on and how it’s going on.
My enthusiasm for my own business (Appliance wise) has died, so it’s not soley directed at the WTA. I have firmly decided that there is more to life than this…!
I sincerely hope that you lot (My friends) don’t think badly of me for my decision to walk away.

I’ve no idea what’s going on with you Ade and, TBH, it’s none of my damned business. 😉
What you chose to do is up to you and you alone.
I’d like you to stick with it but, it’s not my call. You will be missed though.
I think we’d all still call you a t##t or whatever, buy you a beer and have a laugh about whatever, whenever. It’s the way it goes and, like the rest of us, you take it the way it’s intended.
But, think badly, I wouldn’t think so unless you’re going to turn into a total ar$e, which I should hope you wouldn’t.
I do hope you sort it all out though and, if I can help, you only need ask.
Just don’t go do something stupid eh, like buy a motorbike. 😉
You got stuff to sort, go sort it. We’re not going anywhere.

Mate you have done a great job of holding it together for so long ,now you need to take stock and make decisions without distractions.

Listen you daft welsh bugger NO ONE thinks badly of you ,go and do what you need to do ,still come to the meetings if you want and have a laugh with us and buy us beer – I mean we will buy you a beer 😉
Do not think that we will let you go easily though,we want a full report of where you are and what you’re up to at regular intervals -so long as your not on a beach in Miami though…
On a serious note we would not have got as far as we have without you,thanks for all you have done ,especially with the OFT stuff .
