I’m stuck

Hi all,
Miele G552…Ser 3072319..ancient dishwasher
No heat during wash but element works on drying and timer advances during the wash.
Is this likely to be the selector switch or a stat that I can’t find without taking the beast out in the garden as there is no room in the kitchen.
Any help appreciated

ps. rating sticker is all but disintegrated so can parts be ordered without an E number?

likely to simply be a fill problem, if machine doesn’t fill in time, when circulation pump starts theres isn’t enough water in to make pressure sw’ therefore no heat during wash.

check inlet water filter, pressure sw, circulation pump motor, in that order

circulation pump impeller could have partial blockage

It started with a blocked pressure chamber and it is slow to fill but does eventually.
Will check this out.

had a fault like this once, ended up being a poly bag in the circ pump impellor, reducing the water pressure to high pressure switch.

Hi lads,
Tried the valve filter, it was blocked and it now fills really fast, p/sw checks out but still no heat on wash, only dry and nothing in cycling pump and good pressure. She rang Miele who said stop using tablets :rolls:
