Re: impeller for Smeg DWD44
Just wanted to pass on the rest of my story:
I called in Domex to fix the d/w, who found the leak in the impeller. He said I’d need a whole new motor/impeller assembly, and his office called me back with a price – over 200 quid. I decided to have a look myself, now that I knew where the leak was. I took out the motor and found the problem in the impeller. I posted the request for a replacement on this site and had a replacement by the end of the week, for £20. I fitted it. It works. Thanks Dave, and to everyone for running this excellent site.
