This heat pump dryer was imported from Germany by the owner who is British relocated from Germany to UK. The machine ran for less than 5 mins then the clean filter alarm came on.
I checked the filter and it’s clean. It’s self cleaning condenser although I take it with a pinch of salt and I had a look at the condenser which it did have some small amount of fluff but not significant to cause blockage.
Do you have any directions that I need to look for and how to resolve it?
forgot to add to the above, when I selected the program before pressing start, it made a loud noise which sounded mechanical such as fan or compressor going. Got me thinking if this is malfunctioning program that is giving out clean filter alarm?
Sorry for more info shared, some development here… traced the noise to condensing pump. I am baffled on why is it on?
There’s no condensing pump fitted there is a drain pump that is easy to access at the rear how old is dryer has it been used alot?
