    model WD 10

    reported fault water taking in..short period 30- 45 secs rotation, then water drain.. Control knob starts rotating

    visted site found 2 quid in drain pump..cleared

    re-tested..same symptoms on any wash selection

    dryer working ok
    spin cycles working ok
    drain pump running ok

    only 2 lights on machine..door locked light flashing only

    any ideas

    Is the light flashing in a pattern when the knob rotates?

    It should be flash flash flash pause flash flash flash.

    Count the flashes between the pauses.

    The error codes are given out by the Mains neon, not the door lock neon, 😉

    Worth checking/changing the brushes, can cause this fault even though it will spin.

    These machines are bad for water dripping onto the circuit board from the dryer as you probably know.
    you could always try changing the presure switch it can also cause that type of problem.
    on the bright side you are still £2 up on the day.
