Do you think we should leave this up just to annoy turbodry and ddirect or bin it.

KeymasterI left it for that very reason. 😉
Plus, it was a member of the public that posted it and there’s no reason to delete it really.

If nothing else it just proves the point that trying to stop the spread of information is utterly pointless.

KeymasterIIRC that is a copy of information that is freely available on Indesit’s website.

Can’t find anything like that on Indesit’s web site. It looks like a direct, word for word lift from the service manual.Jim.

KeymasterI’m sure that was published on the service website as I recall being surprised that they’d done it.

They did give a basic list of fault codes but not in that graphic detail.
It just listed the fault and advised them to rectify it themselves if it was down to user error, taps off, filter blocked etc, but in most instances it says, contact the service department.
That list is definitely verbatim from a service manual and just possibly may be subject to copyright. 😕

I have now edited that post. It is not on the Indesit web site and after checking several manuals it is a direct copy, word for word from the Indesit service manuals, so in effect it is technically covered by copyright.
Hopefully it will have been up long enough to pee off turbodry and ddirect.
If you want it reinstated i can always copy it from a manual. 😉
