    Indesit WILS 1400

    Hi I have recently replaced the main motor on my washing machine due to the fact that the windings on the old motor had burnt out. The Brushes were extremely worn so i replaced them first this got me going for about a week the the winding failed.

    The motor a bought was a direct replacement and now when i run the machine the spin cycle fails on the third spin. the 3rd led from the washer drawer and the power light flash and the drum stops i need to power down to reset this fault. any ides please??

    I believe the 3rd LED flashing indicates a motor or motor tacho fault. 🙁

    Not sure how to resolve then.. New motor had the same part no.s as the original maybe need to check it out some more. It does seem to spin slower than before but motors are both 1400’s.
