    Hi
I have Indesit dg 6100 , the problem i have is the tablet doesnt seem to disolve and lies just soggy after a complete cycle and certainly the top blade doesnt spin ( ive opened it a couple of times to check whilst in a cycle) Water does come out the top but when ive checked it seems not strong enough to spin it .
    Ant ideas
    Thanks
    Pablo :rolls:

    Re: Indesit 6100

The first thing to do is remove both spray arms and check for blockages in the small holes. This can be bits of food ( sweetcorn is common ), paper, glass, bone, wood etc. If these are blocked then removing the bits is often very difficult. New upper and lower arms are fairly cheap on these machines.
It pays to rinse the dishes first before you load them into the machine.

If the arms are clean without blockages then the fault is internal and may be best left to an engineer. Click the link in my sig if you need assistance.

please remove the mains plug if you intend to proceed further.

    Jim.

    Thanks Jim ,
the arms blades seem ok as i cleaned them out , would this cause the tablet not to dissolve tho ?
, i wouldnt mind looking internally if i had a rough idea what to look for ,(im a service engineer for Photocopiers/printers etc so im not scared to open the box up)

p.s when i open the door in mid run it doesnt seem much water is getting pumped to the top ( i took out the top tray to see )

    thanks again for your reply

Underfilling problem? Find the chamber which collects the air to feed the pressure switch and clean it out.

    Power off, of course.
