Indesit 7kg Condensor Dryer works now and then

I have had this TD for about 18 months, a few months ago it started being temperamental working one time and then not working the next time.

I used someone out of my local newspaper who didn’t charge for call out.

He had a quick look at it then took the back panel off and asked for a hairdrier, he used it for a few minutes, ( not on his hair) 🙂 then tried the dryer and if like magic it worked. After all this time it has started doing the same thing again, is there anything I can change or replace to fix it.

the haidryer trick is probably rubbish

when you say it doesnt work.. what exactly happens?

is there anything at all? any noises (humming/rumbling?)

does it trip the electric?

need more info im afraid!

Thank you for the reply,,,I have decided that enough is enough,, I saw one listed on Ebay at a cracking price and bought it, strangely enough I know the person selling it and they live very close so I should be ok.
