Hi all, been to an indesit model a1635 doing strange things set it on 3, fills up for short time then pumps some water out, but only a bit then carries on filling, starts to heat ok then after about five minutes stops heating and stays on three without moving on, some times the dial just turns by itself and have to reset it, i suspect module, but see that there are 2 on offer for this model one with eeprom the other without, not a lot in it price wise but what is the difference and would it need to be programed, or am i barking up the wrong tree altogether???
    Thanks Allan

    Hi Allan,

First off I suspect this is an Ariston A1635UK you are talking about here not an Indesit?

Secondly in order to get the correct module you need to note the serial number of the machine and select which one fits. It could be a faulty module though that is by no means certain? Best option would be to take it out and send it the EMW for them to test it I reckon, but the inevitable delay and inconvenience may not be to your customers liking? It would certainly be less costly for you to take that route though! 😉

Hi Martin and thanks for the quick reply, yes it is an Ariston serial no. 402127944. difficult to send module off as it is in a holiday home and needs to be sorted quickly.
    Thnx Allan

In that case you need to order a Module (Part No. C00093158) It doesn’t come with an Eeprom though with great care you can remove the old one from the board and swap it over. Otherwise a replacement programmed eeprom is Part No. C00092695.

Hope that works for you? No guarantees with anything called Ariston don’t forget? 😉

I hope you have checked all the other things like meggered the motor and heater etc….Eliminate the negative before you do anything POSITIVE…. 8)
