Morning all, Can anyone help. I went to look a Indesit on which the module had failed. The customer had already looked at it and taken edge connectors off, without noting. Obtained a new board, 215007624.01, but have trouble with orientation of connectors on CND, CNC and CNA as these appear to fit both ways, either cable coming in from top or underneath board. The main power connector lower down are keyed and fit ok but reluctent to try new board out without confirming which way round these go. Any ideas?

    Thanks

All the connectors fit with the ‘latches side’ of each connector block facing the ‘component’ side of the board 😉

    Re: Indesit board connections

Continuing saga of this machine. Sorted out edge connection, closer look in better light showed plug and board are numbered anyway. However now have different problem. Orginally, so client advised, was the motor was erratic. I couldn’t test as he had already dismantled board. Motor seemed to meter out ok and QER confirmed board had failed and was not repairable. When new module fitted the timer now rotates constantly after the initial flashing as it sets up. It even does this from an “off” position. It also does a hot fill and pumps out at same time. I’m getting baffled by this now, I’ve checked machine over, but dont’t know what I’m missing, tried resetting but problem re ocurres.Any idea’s? Could I have wrong module. One supplied is P/No C00093158 and machine is W143UK s/no 303255112. Any advice appreciated.

    Great site.

John – When the timer knob rotates you should get a light flashing on the panel. It flashes in groups with about a 10sec pause between. Count the flashes in a group and this is the error code.

The module is the correct one.

thanks for advice, It was flashing at 10 sec intervals but not sure how many. You can guess i’m not used to these machines. Will get back and have a count.

    Thanks alot

Re: Indesit board connections Fault codes?

    Hi all,

Went round this morning to count pulses. After intial setup there are three pulses every 10 secs. I believe this may suggest thermistor, I did check this the other day. I can’t remember value but it was not short or open.

    Thanks

    Re: Indesit board connections

yep it is the thermistor circuit. At 20degC you should find about 20Kohm across it. It is more than likely a bad connection on the IDC plug. A good way to check the complete circuit is to measure across the module plug pins 1 & 2 on CNB for continuity.

Have you fitted an eeprom to module . Sounds very much like you havn’t from the fault you are getting , New modules dont come complete with eeprom its a seperate part C00092572.
