Can anyone help? We have an Indesit c239 its about 4 years old, a week or to ago i had an ice cream that seemed a bit soft so turned the freezer half up a bit. Today, an ice cream bought this morning hadn’t frozen very well and the alarm light had been flashing and is now on all the time. Everything seems frozen at the minute and it appears to be blowing cold air out.
To top it off we’ve realised the intruction book we have is for the c138 and can’t find intructions online – Help please!Re: Indesit c239
These electronically controlled units are problematic to say the least 😉
The user manaul won’t help I doubt to be honest, if the settings are normal on the controls and it’s not cooling correctly there will almost certainly be a problem. You could try a total defrost for 48 hours to see if that improves things.
If that doesn’t work or the problem recurrs, try the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂
