    Hi,

Fridge Model is Indesit CA 55 (UK)

Freezer is ok but fridge is not cooling – milk and food going off before their expiry date. Checked with a thermometer, fridge temperature was 13 degree C even on lowest setting. However freezer is -21 degree C.

Compressor is running, all the time I think.

I defrosted and also changed the thermostat, but didn’t fix the issue.

I believe this is a wet wall design, in the fridge section, there is frost in the back plate and drain hole. I have unblocked the drain hole but this didn’t solve the problem.

It seems wet wall designs don’t have cold air flow – I don’t find any internal fan or any air duct to flow cold air from freezer to the fridge and I cannot find anywhere to take off the back plate either on the freezer section or the fridge section – looks like it is a sealed / foamed. The evaporator tubes form the shelf of the freezer section.

Any advice what could be wrong and how to fix this ?

    Many thanks
