Indesit condenser leaking water from the rear of the machine the cover for the heating element has a sponge foam filter at the bottom and this is wet and drips so I think it’s this but I don’t understand how it’s leaking from there I have cleaned condenser water container and lint filter Any help is appreciated

check the water is getting pumped up

check the back behind the condensor, make sure its clear of lint

take the pump chaber off and make sure the hole is clear from the back of the condensor so the water can get to the pump

if the water fills up at the back and does not get pumped away it can get into the fan. most of the time this hasppens the fan sprays the element with water and it blows the house trip

Water is definitely getting pumped up but I will check the pump chamber

So I have took out the lower condenser fully cleaned it and let it dry out got my arm right in the back cleaned the water channel out made sure it was clear of old fluff took out the pump and cleaned it cleaned the water chamber and made sure the little slot was clear today I went to dry some towels and still the foam sponge at the bottom of the heater element cover is wet and dripping I took of the black pump tube from the top of the water collect tray and water is definitely getting pump out don’t know what els to try

did you take the rear cover off and dry it out before you tried it
maybe there was some residual water
