Thats the commercial code, not the model number Bryan, bloody confusing or what. Model is a KD6C8EW. 😯

Before date code 47 element is 6204370
After date code 46 element is 6102752

Early one is 2.5 KW later one 2 KW.

Went to one of these only the other day, one quick look told me it wasn’t really an Indesit, for once it is a Creda/Hotpoint with Indesit’s name on it.

Have you seen the list price of the later one 6102752 – £5.59 ex VAT.

It goes from stupidly overpriced motors and complete drum assemblies in cheap washing machines to very underpriced elements in relatively expensive cookers…..
