indesit cooker

    indesit 500mm slot in cooker kd3c3(k)/g.customer just bought this reconditioned :rolls: cooker and upon connecting up finds it is tripping.had a quick look on way home last night and what happens is as soon as its turned on at wall top oven light and cooling fan comes on without anything switched on.on turning grill on it trips.thinking stuck contact(s) on sw but would be grateful for wiring diag if available.

    Did it not have some sort of guarantee?

    Time to disconnect it and megger the whole appliance I reckon. Goodness knows where it’s been and may be as damp inside as an Irish full-backs jock strap….?

    it has been connected to mains correctly but i suspect that little hands have been playing about with it inside.it does have warranty but was not purchased locally so a bit of a logistics nightmare to return.my suggestion was the same and told customer to return it,but that not much good to tenant who has just moved in.will have a proper look mon morn.
