ParticipantI have an electic indesit multifunction oven FM 20 K.C IX GB about 2 years old which will not heat up, the problem occured after the electrics to the kitchen tripped. I replaced the fuse to the kitchen and everything works except the oven. The fan seems to be working in the that it is spinning the light is on and the clock has been set up correctly .
Any advice appreciatedregards Naz

It is possible that the fan oven element has failed. If you are going to look yourself Please remove power supply to cooker. Otherwise if you click on the red toolbox there may be a repairer in your area.

Thanks Simon i clicked on the red tool box no repairer in my area. If the fan element has gone ? would the element at the top of the oven glow as that does not come on either. Were can you source the parts for this oven and the service booklet i have the origonal installation booklet but that deals with mainly with using the cooker.
thanks again Naz

The grill should work still. The conventional oven setting may work(top/bottom elements) Does the red light to say that the oven is switched on come on? This is the one that goes off when the oven is hot.
There is no service booklet for these. It is possible that something else may have been damaged when the fuse blew. Pop up your postcode or check directories section on left for a repairer.Regards

The conventional oven setting seems to work, i set it on those settings and it heated up. If i set the dial to the grill but do not turn on the heat settings the light flashes dimly until i turn up the temp settings then the light comes on but the grill element does not glow. I will change that tomorrow and see how it goes

Alnaz,
I hope you can give me some advise. I’m looking to buy the same oven as you a Indesit FM 20 K.C IX with the Indesit MK 64 R Ceramic hob.
How have you found the oven, any problems apart from this one?
Thanks for any help
