Indesit D/Washer IDL40UKC – no heat

Hi folks

Went to this slimline d/w and m/c not heating – going thru prog and water cold but no fault indication throwing up.

Checked out heater that ok. Inpected PCB that looks ok to.

Am i right in thinking this is proberbly a NTC fault? Looks like one fitted near the end of the heating element (or is that a thermostat?) and when I tested it the resistance seemed low for a NTC (altho i was struggling a bit to get on the connections properly).

Had similar fault on a candy washer that was doing same thing and that was low resitance NTC.

Anyone had similar prob?

Itl be the 100 bit timer, 2 pcbs up to ser n/o 70914999 C00142139 from ser n/o 709150000 part n/o C00259733 hope this helps JJ

Is there a part number change on the earlier one as Connect don’t recognise the part number. Its a IDL40 UKC and numbers are 605228407 and 643752100000. Peed off with these pieces of crap cos I used to put 12 months guarantee on these and they are failing within the period a bit too often 👿 👿 .

C00142139 is the correct part number.
