    High Folks.

Although this d/w is 18 months old, it was only commissioned a couple of weeks ago. Since that time it seems to stop mid prog and comes up with random erroneous messages ie led 1 water in base- base as dry as a bone. 1+3 filters blocked-new machine filters clean as a whistle. 2+3 timeout filling- tap on,water going in. I guess this looks like the control model faulty, but the only thing different is that this machine is connected to hot supply which is quite hot, would this have any bearing on the problem?

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Merry Christmas to you all,

    Regards, Mike.

A Merry Christmas to you all, but especially to all the moderators who put so much time and effort into running this site, have a peacefull holiday and return to what we all hope will be a prosperous new year.

Also.. This posting seems to have fallen off the christmas tree, so I thought I would put it back on the top. Anyone have any thoughts on this problem?.

    Regards, Mike

It’s an odd one, for sure. Jim’s posted a few times about spurious errors being caused by the heater and it’s circuitry.

Off the wall idea: if the PCB is programmed to be at say, 45/50c some 20 minutes into the programme and it hits that temperature straight away because of the hot fill, might it throw the machine into thinking it’s hot but empty?

Beyond that, PCB I suppose. Bit100 boards don’t seem to be particularly reliable.

    Have a good break,
    Chris.
