I have an Indesit D4000 and water is starting to leak out onto the floor. Is this likely to be the bottom door seal? I understand that seal packs are available for both the bottom of the door and the ‘top and sides’ but don’t want to buy both.

I have looked at one website who are quoting 8-11 days for delivery – we can’t wait that long! Also is it fairly straight forward to fit?

Many thanks for your kind assistance.

It’s quite unlikely to be either of the seals to be honest yorkshirelad.

More likely is an overfill problem or an internal leak.

It may be best to ask an engineer to take a look for you maybe ?

Buying parts that don’t resolve the problem may prove more costly than getting a correct diagnosis, if you need more help on this, take a look in the directories, repairs@ or pop your postcode up here.

Thanks Dave – that’s good advice I will call an Engineer.

    Kind Regards
