I have an Indesit D61D which wont complete a cycle, it sticks at the same points everytime, i noticed that the water wasnt heating up so wondered if the element had gone causing the cycle to stop, so went and ordered a new element, fitted it and no-go same problem, had a check round on the internet and got advised to try the thermostat, so again ordered the thermostat fitted tried it and guess what still the same.
im now wondering what else it could be, im left thinking if its the timer thats gone, or is there a reset switch for the thermostat,
really getting frustrated, dont want to be wasting any more money but my dishes are piling up lol,
any help would me very appreciated
    cheers

    Re: Indesit D61D

Could very well be the timer as they can burn out internally (but look OK on the outside). Stopping in one position is a common fault.
BUT – don’t order more parts! Click the ‘Repairs @’ banner to get an engineer to examine your dishwasher. Compared with what it’s cost you in unnecessary parts so far a service visit is a veritable bargain!! 🙂
