Indesit D63 – drain pump faulty?

Hi
My indesit D63 is washing fine (ie circulating pump runs and water is sprayed around), but not draining out the water. If I stop and restart a new wash cycle it doesn’t drain out the water as it should do – it then fills (more water!) and starts washing.
I don’t think its a blockage but think the drain pumps bust as it doesn’t make any noise when it should be draining.

so, is this just an easy remove and replace job? and is this the right part -Plaset 62097

It could just be a pump blockage, small piece of glass, bone, plastic etc will stop the pump.

Not that difficult to access from underneath.

Remove the mains plug before you go inside.
