Indesit D63 – items at Front top shelf always come out dirty

Our Indesit D63 appears to be working fine. However every time mugs and glasses at the from of the top shelf (and the top edge of the inside of the door) are coated with a residue (appears to be food particles) which is baked on by the drying cycle.
The machine appears to drain properly and we’ve tried a couple of hot cycles with the machine empty and also a couple of cycles with Finish dishwasher cleaner – but the problem remains. The residue also ends up on some plates and some cutlery – but usually 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of the items in there are fine – so its a bit odd. But very annoying!!!!!!

Any advice would be gratefully received!

have you made sure that filters are clean and the spray arm holes are all clear , also that the items you put into dishwasher are not sticking too far through the racks and stopping spray arms from rotating .
