My dishwasher leaks through the lower door seal. I have removed the front panel from the door and can see the water splashing up everytime the sprayer goes around.
After dismantling the door i noticed one end of the seal had come lose. I put it back in and used some plyers to crimp it in place however once put back together it still leaks.

The seal is not split do they just wear out as i cant see any obvious damage? Also how easy is it to replace, do you need a special tool to crimp the metal lip over the seal?

    Thanks.

Before you go any further just check that the top spray bar is actually turning as they have a habit of seizing diagnally across the inner cabinet and then water leaks from around the door edge.

Also check the female seal at the rear inside of the cabinet that the male top wash basket spray arm assy slides into is not split.

    Hi
Thanks for the reply. I ran the dishwasher empty with the panel removed of the door so i could see the lower seal. Everytime the lower sprayer went around water squirted up through the lower seal with enough force to splash over the edge onto the floor.
I can provide pictures if it helps illustrate it.
The problem seems to be the lower seal at th botom of the door. The side seals are okay as is the one at the back of the unit where the top sprayer connects.

I dont thnk so the problem seems to lie with the seal on the bottom of the door, question is how easy is it to replace as it seems to be crimped in place.
