Had a customer ring me on Sat’ morning complaining that her Indesit dishwasher wasn’t filling, seems to pump all the time, on interrogation she admitted to breaking a pice of plastic in the bottom of the Dishwasher, she says its at 12 O’Clock position behind where lower spray arm comes up, sticks up a bit, she taught it was part of filter but tried to remove it “with pliers”, needless to say its broken off. Anyone know what this is she’s talking about, i’ve visions of her taking a piece out of the sump & water is noe flooding into base of machine & activating float switch?? Anyone know what this Knobule is that she describes??

Difficult to tell on Partfinder, there is a small doofer called a ‘bodytop overflow’ part number 075726 that could be the thing she has pulled off, it looks to be a small vent of some description.?????

she has prob pulled off or broken the syphon device this lets water into base pan if machine overfills, it screws in i think, or she may of unscrewed the bottom spray arm hub, this would let water pee into base and activate anti flood.. i see these little gems all day 🙁
