Indesit D66

Went to this m/c today,tripping electric. M/c has leaked & taken the motor to lunch 😡 ,ok fair enough but the leak seems to have come from some sort of overflow pipe that comes from the centre ,just behind the sump ,goes to a white plastic part with small holes in it! Before I fit a new motor how do I stop this happening again. Seems a crap design 👿 .
I,m sure many of you will have had this fault!

I think that overflow pipe has been altered on later models, 3 in1 or 4 in 1 tablets are a common cause of oversoaping and leaking into the base on these machines, float switch should have tripped before water got to motor so make sure that is operating correctly.
