    Good evening all,

Could anyone advise me on a problem on the above dishwasher?

The customer reported that on the 55 degrees’C programme her machine ran continuosly for over three hours, and displayed error code: A02

I have checked this through UKW, which suggests the problem relates to the following: Heater Relay, Thermisitor, Safety Stat or element.

I have also run the machine on the 55’C programme today, and found the water was getting very hot, (77’C) together with the timer countdown being erratic. i.e. displaying time remaining going up and down, and staying on 75 minutes for example for several minutes.

I suspect the thermistor is faulty, thus reaching such a high temerature, before I assume the safety stat cuts in.

I now need to know where the thermistor is situated, and would welcome some advice as to the likelihood of a thermistor causing such a problem.

    Best wishes,

    jontymox

i have had this fault a few years ago and found that the thermostats that are in a plastic holder (2 stats i think) located near sump did not make proper contact with the stainless steel so unable to detect temperature, i found easiest way was to superglue stats to stainless steel, it worked with no problems, no doubt somebody will call it a botch but it worked. first of all i changed the thermostats but they did not make contact with the stainless steel so did not cure the fault.
