Indesit DFE 1B19 X UK won’t start, repeats 3 beeps?

Hi guys, new user here!
Looking for some help with my new dishwasher. It is brand new, installed yesterday. I couldn’t run it straight away to test it as I hadn’t realised I needed dishwasher salt (i have never had a dishwasher before!) but assumed it was all installed fine. Today armed with my supplies I have followed the instructions and set the water hardness level, filled the rinse aid and salt compartments. But when I try to run a cycle it gives a beep of acknowledgement, whirrs a bit, and then gives out 2 short beeps followed by a long one and seems to do nothing else. The series of beeps repeats over and over and nothing happens. I tried indesit live chat but it seems to be down atm. I tried calling them for help and they have put me down for a call back but it has been hours now so I thought i would take to google and came across this site. Hoping someone can help a noob out 😀

Is the water supply turned on to the dishwasher and is that pipe not kinked?
