HI, My slimline dishwasher (Indesit DG6145) seems to be sticking when set on any setting. The power light works ok, the machine initially works fine, water heard being sprayed etc, then it just stops and buzzes. The timer appears to be a mechanical one and I can advance it manually until the next stage , fine but then it seems to pump water and pause, pump water and pause. This goes on until I manually advance it again.
I have checked the water temperature and it is still heating the water, ie the dishes are very hot to the touch.
I do use the tablets and they seem to disolve just fine and checking the drain plug , it is clear and just a little pool of water left in the very depth of the plug hole.
I apprecaiate that some of these questions have been asked before but advice given seems to negate any fault I have, apart from maybe the mexhanical timer. Any help would be appreciated.. thanks 🙂

Apart from breaks in the wiring harness, usually near the door hinge where the wiring bends it does sound as though the timer may be faulty, could also be faulty inlet or water softener valve, timer is around £70.00 though so not something to try ‘on spec’.

Cheers , will check the wiring and if not will get a price for the timer but might be as well just buying a replacement washer 🙂
