Indesit DI 62 Fault Code

I had a problem with my dishwasher a couple of weeks ago and the program 1 and 2 lights were flashing. I diagnosed the problem to be the drain pump so I replaced it. The dishwasher has been fine untill now and a different fault code is coming up which is the program 3 light is flashing. The machine nearly does a full cycle and drains but nothing is clean and the washing tablet has not released. Can anyone give any suggestions!

Light 3 (rapid wash) flashing quickly is a drain fault!!!! sorry!

all i can suggest is check your plumbing.

There are a couple of different versions of this model, we may be able to help more with a serial number and production number found on the rating plate.

The drain system seems to be working correctly. When I start a cycle the dishwasher fills with water, I have checked this by opening the door mid cycle. When the dishwasher goes into fault there is no water in the dishwasher. I have also checked the limit switch under the dishwasher for if their is a leak and this is working correctly as well.
The full description of the unit is a DI 62 UK/B. S/N 209272017.

Any more help would be greatly appriciated.

How long is the dishwasher on before the fault comes up?

If the first program is selected the dishwasher is on for nearly an hour. When you open the door there is no water in the bottom and the program three light is flashing.

If your plumbing is ok and the dishwasher isn’t siphoning;

It’s time for an engineer to take a look – pop up your postcode or look in directories for a local engineer.
