indesit di 620 dishwasher error lights 2 and3

hi guys,had an error code 4 flashing light on indesit di 620 dishwaser,after following some advice i came across in these forums i purchased a new control board from uk white goods.i believe the error 4 is a heater time out and the element and thermostat test ok,the instructions supplied with the new board say to run the test cycle (lights 2 and 3 on permanent,then after the machine starts to fill open the door and hold in the programme button untill you hear three blips or the light 2 and 3 go out,for some reason this would not work,after a couple of attempts i closed the door ,the test cycle completed but i now have a lock out of lights 2 and three flashing and cant get the machine to do anything,the water heated up during the test cycle so i belive the initial problem was with the control pcb but now im stuck,any advice would be greatly appreciated

2+3 is supposed to be a fill timeout. 😕

thanks for the reply,i refitted the original control board and the machine operated as before,it seemed to fill ok and run the programme but would stop with the error 4 light flashing.i believe the problem with the new board may be that it has not initiallized properly as the supplied paper work described that holding in the programme button whilst 2 and 3 were lit up solid would reset the test cycle and the machine would be set up ready for use,however it did not respond to me holding the button in and continued the test cycle until lights 2 and three started flashing is there any way to re set this and try again? many thanks

sounds like when you re-fitted the new board the button has not aligned with the switch on the board,
all you need to do is make sure the button on the board is being pressed in

i have double checked the the switch is making and all is ok,also works fine with the old board in place,what are the chances of the new board being faulty? i thought this would be doubtful, thanks for your help guys,any other suggestions would be great im starting to pull my hair out with this one!
