ParticipantHi.. I have got fault lights 1 + 3 up.
I know I should have bought a decent dishwasher but it was free.
Anyone know what they indicate so I can limp it through Xmas before I skip it in the new year??
Thanks

1+3 suggests that the filters are blocked. You should try to clean everything that you can in the sump, then try it on the hottest wash with a dishwasher cleaner without any dishes in it. If you are lucky it may flush the gunge out.
Always rinse your plates before loading, remember, it is a dishwasher, not a waste disposal unit.

Thanks for the reply.. I have tried this.
The waste & filters are clear.
If I frig the door switch to see whats going on inside & start a cycle… the machine starts to fill & then drains/pumps away quickly it then sits there atfter the water has gone & the 1+3 lights come up?
Thanks

Sometimes the error messages can be wrong, however a full internal clear out may cure it, difficult with an integrated machine. It is possible that the turbidity sensor itself is faulty. Looks like its marigolds added to your present list. 🙂

Yes.. I think your right..
Where is the sensor mounted?
Whats the most reliable make machine in your opinion that I should be looking to replace it with?

Not certain of the sensor position on this model, some even give the fault code when they don’t actually have a sensor, also some models have a flow meter instead.
BSH group products are decent, Bosch/Seimens/Neff, Miele are even better but rather expensive.
