ParticipantHi. Is there a genius out there who can help .I went out to a Indesit DI450
lady of the house said its making strange noises.Sounded like the pump strugling to me so changed the pump.Put it all back together tried it on a prog it washed for ten mins. Then the soap dispenser opened and it started making a clicking sound as if it was trying to open the dispenser again.Opened the door to find light 3 out of five flashing.I then drained the water out and the pump sounded like it was strugling again.Does anyone know what error code light 3 is.I carnt find it in the error code bible.Look forward to hearing from you.September 23, 2008 at 6:00 pm #263254iadom

Page two, third post down of Known Error codes thread or page 35 of the fault code guide.

Iadom thanks for the reply.I noticed that list on page 35 for the DI61 which I presume is the full size version. But it only lists 4 leds when in fact there are five. This is where the problem starts it is the eco button which is flashing and this is not listed on known error codes

Thanks Jim for the quick response.Thermister thats just chucked another spanner in the works.Im wondering how far to go with this machine because that does not explain the clicking sound when the tablet door opens or the labouring pump.ARGHHHHH thats better.Have you ever come across a similar problem. Thanks again Jim.

All faults ultimately seem to come back to the carppie Bit100 pcb. Thermistor is integral with pcb. Dispenser is fired by the pcb. Pump is switched by the pcb.
I think you need a pcb.

That would make sense penguin.I did have a quick look at the pcb and it looked as clean as a whistle .So I may have to take a punt at it.
