ParticipantI’ve had my dishwasher for almost 3 years now, looked after it pretty much ok,proper dishwater salt etc, no overloading. It’s started making a buzzing sound at certain stages in the cycle, it sounds like it’s coming from inside the door where the tablet goes.
All help info greatly appreciated.

Soap dispenser solenoid getting noisy would be my thought – it’s operated twice during the cycle.
Probably harmless………

ParticipantIt buzzed more than twice during the cycle, I’m sure of it, but I’ll monitor it more closely the next time I use it, might even film the thing. lol

Not wanting to push my luck but is the buzzing in the video symptomatic of the soap dispenser buzzing, and more importantly, how do I get in there to fix it?

Sounds like the solenoid actuating at random – door outer panel off to investigate. If is buzzing away, the pcb will be at fault.
Be careful – you can shave with the edges of the door.

What’s the damage for a PCB? I’ll get stuck into investigating this tomorrow morning, cheers.November 6, 2009 at 9:40 am #302273Joe_social

Two or three different PCB’s
Is your model number a DI450.UK or a DI450.UKC
Keep your fingers crossed its not a C because that is Chinese made 😥 :rolls:
A couple of the PCB’s are around £35 one is over £70.00
Sadly that picture looks like the expensive one.
Full model number and serial number needed to identify correct part.
