indesit di450 fault

hi

i had a problem that the heater was not heating the water so i replaced the relay on the pcb with one from maplins JM67X. since i have replaced the relay when i start the dishwasher after about 1 minute the solonoid on the dispenser clicks to open the flap then keeps on clicking for about 2 minutes. shoud i have replaced something else with the relay.

Are you certain you replaced the correct relay? Also what led you to replace the relay?

Also, you would need to ensure that you replaced the relay with an equivilant.. ie gates and switches need to be the same.

i had the leds flashing on the panel after i did some research on what the fault was it said faulty relay or element. i tested the element to be ok and someone listed on this site that relay JM67X from maplins.co.uk is the same.i have not got the original to compare it with anymore.

do you think it is control pcb or dispenser solenoid that is faulty?

PCb… Dispenser requires power to click. Power is only supplied for seconds to release the flap. Or should be anyway.
