Indesit DI450 fitting instructions

Hi everyone.

I have just bought an Indesit DI450 slimline dishwasher. Its an ex display so I didn’t get any instuctions. I have downlioaded a user manual, so should be ok when we get it installed.
However I cannot find any fitting insructions online anywhere.

We are revamping the kitchen and the dishwasher (450mm wide) is going into a space where a 500mm unit was.
Can anyone please tell me how to:
– fit a unit door to the dishwasher,
– secure the dishwasher in position under the worktop.
– What do you do with the 50mm difference in sizes? Moving the units is not an option.
Any ideas/comments will be gratefully accepted.

Hi Martin

If you have the installation kit with the fixings and template, the installation instructions should be in the same pack. If you don`t have anything at all then you will need part no. C00095275. spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk should be able to supply one.

To install the unit physically you could purchase an end panel from your local kitchen supplier to make the “second side” of the housing and add a small fillet to take up the remanider of the space.
