Indesit DI450UKC – Error Light 4 Flashing

Hi,

I’ve had a number of error codes reported on this machine over the years but in the past either holding the mode selection switch for a number of seconds or cutting the power for an hour or so has cleared them. The current one is the 4th light (of five) flashing on its own but it looks set to stay this time! With this error code flashing it will not let me use the machine at all.

Does anybody know what this error code means? I heard it double beep mid cycle and then stop and the light has been flashing ever since. The cycle must have been almost complete as the contents were clean and everything dried quickly on opening the door (it was very hot). The drain appears to be ok; I can see a small amount of water in the bottom of the drain hole – but I think this is normal behaviour from what I remember.

Any thoughts? If anybody happens to know all the error codes for this model please list them as I can’t find any comprehensive info on this model online.

The error codes are HERE Not as clear as it should be because some machines have a digital display and some don’t.
Light 4 flashing is A04, either the thermistor has come loose inside the inner door panel or the thermistor/pcb has failed.
