indesit di62 does not complete program

Hi all,
if i start this dishwasher using programs 1,2 or 3 then after about 55 minutes the program finishes. However the program light does not blink to indicate a finished program. Also during any of these programs a was goes ahead but the water fails to heat.

If i use program 4 (rinse) then that program runs and the end of program light does blink to indicate a finished program.

Have tried turning the power off for a minute. No difference.

The program lights do not blink abnormally – so no indication of an error.

I just find it strange that the programs can be selected but do not finish as indicated by the none blinking program lights.

There are no blockages on either water coming or leaving the machine.

Thanks in advance if anyone has any ideas.

The heating elements are prone to failure on these machines, but as you have deduced, you should be getting an error code with a combination of the neons flashing.

Indesit electronics in both washers and dishwashers can be ‘erratic’ to say the least. 😥
