Indesit DI620 Integrated – Error Code

Hi,

I have an Indesit DI 620 integrated dish washer, which is stopping about ten minutes into the cycle, with hot water in the sump and the powder container still clipped shut. It will stay like that all night.

There are four lights in the top of the door, the left hand two (lights 1 & 2) are flashing. Can anyone tell me what that particular code means, please?

This is usually a drain time out fault, that means to say the machine has failed to empty in the allotted time due to pump failure or blockage.

1+2 flashing can also be a software recognition error, a possibility it it is happening early in the programme.

first one is not that difficult a fix, second one not easy.

Pump checked and is OK. So it must be the programmer, right? Can I get a programmer, being an ordinary consumer person?

You can get most things but I would be wary of diving in and fitting expensive electronics without letting an experienced engineer have a look first to be honest.
