INDESIT DI620 LIGHT 4 FLASHING ERROR CODE !

Hi, i tried to see if this question had already been asked but i couldn’t seem to find it.

I can start the dishwasher cycle and it seem to be working but when it has finished the items are still dirty and and it doesn’t seem to be hot inside the machine?

My appliance is built in to the work tops (regretfully) so will i be able to relpace the faulty part myself if we can find the problem?

LED 4 flashing = Not heating. You pretty well answered you own question there in fact.:D

As to whether you can replace the heater yourself? I can only suggest that you again are the best judge. But do make sure, first and foremost, you disconnect it from the mains!:zap:

Its advisable to remove the machine and electrically test the heater first.

As your machine has the old style exposed element in the tub there is a very strong chance that the heater is OK and the control PCB is at fault.

where abouts is the heater if was to replace it ?

Err, its that great big L shaped element that goes along the back and right hand side inside the tub.

Its still more than 75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain to be the PCB though. You really must test the element first from underneath.

Hi,

This is my first post to the forum so please excuse any mistakes 😀

Our machine has just developed the same fault. The S/N is 70404 2981, can you please advise which PCB we would need to order? Also, I’ve read through some of the older posts, are the PCBs still available through UK Whitegoods? Is the new PCB difficult to fit?

If your machine is a DI620 then the control PCB is a C00143222.

I think that we stopped supplying several Indesit modules due to the very poor quality and high failure rates but I could be wrong on that point.

Have you checked the heater first, PCB is around £70.00 so you need to be certain you need it.

Degree of difficulty is hard to assess without knowing your capabilities, not really a simple DIY task TBH.
