ParticipantI have hunted for an answer to my problem so hope I am not repeating a topic.
My Indesit DI620 is stuck on program 1. When I press the button it beeps as it would normally do when going through the selections but the light on the door panel remains on program 1.
Is this a PCB fault or something more sinister 😕

the professionals will probably tell you that it’s indes*it….poor quality eyetie electronics, dickey connectors…..could be anything, cheap but really nasty.
If you feel up to it, I’d have the casing open (unplug first!) then go all round , checking wiring and connections.,interlocks, microswitches……..and on…………..
quick cure…..launch in skip, buy a decent one! 😉

The enthusiasm of Cockney Steve has to be admired but it would be far more appropriate were he to leave those that seek technical advice to us experts. :rolls:
In that regard I can answer your query but suggesting that maybe the base of your machine has flooded? That possibly a leak somewhere within has caused it?
Your choice of product is not in question, your asking for help however may reveal the solution you seek?

The first thing to do is to try a reset. Switch off at the mains for five minutes and then switch on and hold the P button in for a few seconds until you here three beeps. That may clear it.
If the base is flooded then the drain pump should run and one of the lights should flash.
You will need to drag the machine out and tilt it to one side to see if the base has flooded.
