Indesit DI67 Error – 4th light from left rapid flash

Sorry if this has been posted before – I’ve searched all DI67 posts and can’t find one that relates, all other ‘flashing light’ errors seem related to washing.

Our DI67 seems to wash fine and when it gets to dry stops, and the drying light flashes rapidly. Switching it off, resetting and on again has no affect, neither does switching off at wall. The only thing that seemed to reset it was switching on at the wall and the power button simultaneously, which gives a single beep.

Trying again worked once, then two consecutive cycles have given the same problem. Can’t find any error code info on the web, don’t *really* want to phone 0870 USELESS.

Any ideas? Doesn’t seem to be any leak, no water sitting in the bottom, filter cleaned.

It’s a time-out fault – no heat detected in the time allowed. This is not entirely logical if the machine progresses as far as the drying stage before coming up. It is worth checking that the temperature sensor is clipped into its bracket by the soap dispenser, beyond that, it will be some sort of logic error – pcb time.

Power off of you’re going to deal with this yourself.
