Indesit dial turning….

Indesit WD12SUK can’t reset prog. Machine pumps, dial clicks round LED flashes once. Set it to wash cycle, starts to fill, pumps and dial clicks round flashing once.

Known error codes states “Short Circuit Triac”…………..???:con:

What triac I wonder? Can anyone help?

not being funny martin but have you looked at the brushes? Had one yesterday on one flash after spinning fine for me but the hardware key showed up a motor fault, out came the brushes and they were well gone despite sounding fine when spinning.

Ah thanks guys I now know the error code thread and booklet just states “Short Circuit Triac” …..I’ve edited my booklet adding the vital missing word “Motor” to prevent future confusion….cheers! 😉
