I have tried to find the answer using the error codes but I cant find a code for the lights I have lit.

Our dishwasher wont complete a cycle, without assistance. If I put it on any of the 4 cycles it starts, does an initial drain, then beeps and doesnt go any further. When I open the door the machine is still trying to drain, even though it is empty. The power light is flashing and then from left to right, lights 1 and 3 are lit but not flashing.

The filter has been cleaned, I’ve used dishwasher cleaner and a white vinegar mix through it to no avail.

If I added boiling water to it it will run but only if I add it after its finished its initial drain, which makes me think its an intake problem rather than a drainage one.

you make it sound like it beeps as soon as the pump stops. if its a fill problem i would expect the pump to stop and then there should be a delay untill the machine realises its not filling

Hi Dave, I press start, it does its initial drain, then it stops as if its waiting for it to fill, then it beeps, the lights come on it drains the water that has gone in but carries on draining for several minutes even when the water has gone.

Hi I’m new and jumping on the back of this DIF 04B1 thread. I believe my problem is with the inlet solenoid valve but I can find no information as to where this is located and how to access. Any help would be really useful.

follow the inlet hose. if your hose screws onto the back of the machine then that is the tail of the valve

Hi, so I changed the solenoid valve today. Doesnt correct the problem. Still seems like a fill problem. Is it worth replacing the impellar jug/exploting this further? Or juat replace the machine. Also any idea what the orange stuff is? Is that just build up of dirt?

you initially said it was not filling at all

if the impeller jug is at fault it has to have water running in

    does it ?
