Indesit DIF 04b1 – Not drying or stopping, but no fault code.

Hi…would be very grateful for any advice with the following …

Indesit DIF 04b1 … about 3 years old.

Does not stop running, possibly stuck on a rinse.

When I open it, well after the program should have finished (up to 6 hours!), there is cold water in the bottom and the arms are whirling around (they stop when I open the door). Listening to the machine before I open the door, I hear the arms whirling and water noises, with short breaks a while apart. The light shows the program I ran it on…there are no flashing or multiple lights on showing any fault code.

When I then turn the machine off (power button, not mains), it successfully drains the water from the bottom.

The contents are well cleaned. When opened, fairly early in a cycle, the water seems at least warm.

I would check the heater as if the heater fails it extends all the progammes that need it

I have the same problem here. Same model, same fault. Did you find what the issue was in the end?
