Module has detected no turbine rotation. check turbine
and wiring.Be sure to remove the mains plug if you intend to open it up.

We have the exact same problem with our indesit DIF16. Could you please explain how we can resolve this problem?

Err, check/change turbine and fill chamber assembly.

Hi Iadom. I have just had this problem which shows 3 lights flashing. The machine does not fill but hums instead. Then the lights flash. Does this sound the same as he last problem you mentioned checking the turbine? Where is this on the machine? I’m based in the same town (Rochdale/Oldham boarder)as you could you recommend anyone to repair if necessary?

If you get a humming noise then the first thing to check is that the inlet water tap is turned on. Could it have frozen over the weekend, it did go very cold on Saturday night?
The water turbine/air break is behind the left hand ( from front ) side panel. A squarish, translucent plastic doofer. Fairly easy to change if needed but check the water inlet first of all.

Hi Iadom,
i have the side panel off – to be honest apat from it being present i’m not sure what i’m checking for! the water inlet is working, in fact we got a partial cycle earlier – the water fill started but then it all stopped soon after. again 3 flashing lights.
What should i do to check the turbine/air break – treat me like a complete fool and describe it like you would to a child!!January 31, 2015 at 10:19 am #307603Duncanw

Right more detail – with the side off i can see the fresh water fill start the a few noises for about 20 secs then i hear a short drain (hear through the sink drain where the outlet goes into) then about 5 secs later the 3 lighs start flashing along with the green power light and i can hear a humming noise which when you open the front door sounds like a suction noise.

You can’t really check the turbine. It’s part of the squarish plastic chamber on the side. Not expensive and simple to change.

Part number is C00256546. There is nowhere local you can go and buy one of these. A quick Google for that part number will get you plenty of results but TBH buying it direct from Indesit is probably cheaper than a lot of the online spares places. List price is around £17.50 inc vat.
Or better still Right here 😉
