I have inherited through a house purchase a built in Indesit DIF16B1UK, this has worked fine for a couple of weeks but over the weekend when trying to run a cycle, it turns on ok then when a cyle is selected it drains excess water before filling, whilst it fills it beeps every 5 seconds or so and all the LED’s flash. This continues until full then it drains itself and starts again !
I have powered it off at the mains for a few minutes and this makes no difference.

Whichever cycle is selected the same cycle above happens beeping while filling then emptying, any ideas what could be wrong or fixes are welcome !

    Thank you.

does sound like a fill fault

not all the lights will flash and its the ones that dont will tell you the fault code

    Hi Dave,

All the cycle LED’s light up at the same time and flash, the only ones that dont are the rinse aid and salt low level warning lights !

that panel is not included in trhe listing as you say

Hotpoint did have some model where you had to plug in a fault finder to get whats going on so yours may be one of those

if i had to make a guess i would say its a fill fault

there is a little sw in this unit that counts the water in. check if this is correct for yours and the sw is in circuit

if yes and you want to take a chance change it but cant promise i am right
