    I fitted a new motor to this dishwasher 3 weeks ago now its dead
    its getting electricity to the pcb which sits at the bottom front of the machine but it wont light up i obviously suspect the pcb but i dont know if it needs a smart card reader or is it a straight replacement.

    smart card unless you can get one from EMW. whats more 2 versions so s/n needed. even more, the last one of these I did would not respond and needed pcb in door as well (that one obviously had gone bang though), yours is a different but similar model.
